Born in the charming town of Viñales, Cuba, I moved to the vibrant city of Miami at age 9. There, I pursued my passion for fashion by studying Merchandising at the Art Institute of Miami. For over a decade, I immersed myself in the beauty industry at Rik Rak Salon Boutique and Bar, holding various roles including Executive Assistant, Senior Hairstylist, and General Manager.

Driven by my curiosity and love for technology, I enrolled in Ironhack's UX/UI Bootcamp in 2019 and graduated second in my class. Afterward, I joined their education team, mentoring students while deepening my design skills.

In late 2019, I began an exciting journey as a Product Designer at Park Street Imports, an alcoholic beverage import company. I contributed to building their first design system and worked on diverse projects spanning visual design, branding, research, and product management.

Recently promoted to Lead UX Designer, I've grown our team and expanded our reach through implementing prototyping, research, and go-to-market strategies.
